Something for everyone!
The Grant County Park is a perfect location for a birthday party, family reunion, wedding and wedding reception, baby shower, etc. All rental rates reserve the facility for the full day.
A Rental Schedule for the week is posted in the case on the side of Lloyd’s Welfare House. Additionally, each shelter has a clear box with the reservation sheet posted, 1 sheet per day.

Our Shelters & Buildings
The 8 Shelters throughout the park are available at no charge on a 1st come, 1st serve basis. If you want to ensure a specific shelter is available for your event it can be rented for $25* thru the Park Office by calling 859-428-4500. Payment by cash, check, or money order only. All shelters have picnic tables and a charcoal grill. Confetti, glitter, & powder cannisters are not allowed at the shelters. There are 3 Porta Potty’s in the park as well as Men’s & Women’s restrooms attached to the Park Office.
*Shelter 3 rental is $50, it is the largest shelter. It is regularly rented along with the Oaks Grove Venue. It can be rented individually 2 weeks prior to requested event date.

Middle of the park across from the stage. The largest shelter, has lights, a concrete corn hole set near it (bring your own bags), close walk to the restrooms attached to the Park Office. It is regularly rented along with the Oaks Grove Venue. It can be rented individually 2 weeks prior to requested event date.
Rental is $50- can only be reserved 2 weeks prior to event date without Oaks Grove Rental.

Has access to electricity – bring your extension cord to connect to outlet on building by restrooms. It is beside the restrooms & a small playground.

Lloyd’s Welfare House
Built in 1921 & dedicated to the town of Crittenden in 1922. This historic building was renovated January 2023 and seats 78. Hardwood floors, stone fireplace (non-working), heat and a/c, men’s & women’s restrooms, stage, microwave & refrigerator, & utility sink. 5 rectangular banquet tables, 10 round tables, & 78 chairs. Rent is $250, a rental agreement must be completed. No decorations can be placed on the walls or wainscotting. No glitter or confetti allowed.
The Bluegrass Barn
A fun & rustic barn perfect for a large gathering. Seats 170, total of 45 tables & 170 chairs are provided Edison Bulb string lights hanging from the rafters, plenty of electrical outlets. Does not have running water, no heat or a/c, no appliances. One Porta Potty near the Barn. Rent is $200, rental agreement required.
Martha Blaine Stage
Perfect for entertainment: music, yoga, Zoomba class, perform a play, etc. Electricity is available just let the Park Office know so that we can make it assessable. Beautiful green space in front of the stage for lawn seating or set up chairs & tables (not provided). Check the Events Calendar for scheduled music events. Contact the Park Office to reserve it. Rental is free.
Oaks Grove Venue
This building was completed in January 2024. Design is modern with white metal walls & ceiling with black trim and ceiling fans. Seats 54 comfortably, full kitchen with stove, microwave & refrigerator, double sink, Butcher Block counter top, 1 rectangular table, 9 round tables, & 72 chairs (maximum capacity of 72), heat and a/c, ADA accessible men’s & women’s restrooms with diaper changing tables. Rent is $400, rental agreement must be completed. No decorations can be placed on the walls.
