Something for everyone!
The Grant County Park is a perfect location for a birthday party, family reunion, wedding and wedding reception, baby shower, etc. All rental rates reserve the facility for the full day.
A Rental Schedule for the week is posted in the case on the side of Lloyd’s Welfare House. Additionally, each shelter has a clear box with the reservation sheet posted, 1 sheet per day.

Our Shelters
The 8 Shelters throughout the park are available at no charge on a 1st come, 1st serve basis. If you want to ensure a specific shelter is available for your event it can be rented for $20* thru the Park Office by calling 859-428-4500 or by completing a reservation envelope beside the Park Office doors & depositing in the drop slot along with your payment. Payment by cash or check only. All shelters have picnic tables and a charcoal grill. Confetti is not allowed at the shelters. There are 3 Porta Potty’s in the park as well as Men’s & Women’s restrooms attached to the Park Office.
*Shelter 3 rental is $25, it is the largest shelter.

Middle of the park across from the stage. The largest shelter, has lights, a concrete corn hole set near it (bring your own bags), close walk to the restrooms attached to the Park Office. Rental is $50

Lloyd’s Welfare House
Built in 1921 & dedicated to the town of Crittenden in 1922. This historic building was renovated January 2023 and seats 78. Hardwood floors, stone fireplace (non-working), heat and a/c, men’s & women’s restrooms, stage, kitchenette with microwave & refrigerator, 5 rectangular banquet tables, 10 round tables, & 78 chairs. Rental is $250 and a rental agreement must be completed. No decorations can be placed on the walls.
The Bluegrass Barn
A fun & rustic barn perfect for a large gathering. Seats 170, total of 45 tables & 170 chairs are provided, has electricity, no heat or a/c, no appliances. Porta Potty near the Barn. Rental is $200.
Martha Blaine Stage
Perfect for entertainment: music, yoga, Zumba class, perform a play, etc. Electricity is available just let the Park Office know so that we can make it assessable. Beautiful green space in front of the stage for lawn seating or set up chairs & tables. Advise the Park Office to reserve it. Rental is free.
Oaks Grove Venue
This new building was completed January 2024. Design is more modern with white metal walls & ceiling with black trim and ceiling fans. Seats 72, full kitchen with stove, microwave & refrigerator, Butcher Block counter top, 1 rectangular banquet table, 9 round tables, & 72 chairs, heat and a/c, men’s & women’s restrooms with changing tables. ADA accessible bathrooms. Rental is $400, rental agreement must be completed. No decorations can be placed on the walls.
